Ace mini coaches complies to the new Department of Transport Seat Belt Regulations.
Risk Assessment and Safety Management Procedures.
It is Company Policy that all Ace Mini Coach drivers are trained and appropriately qualified in all aspects of P.S.V. regulations covering drivers duties.
All Ace Mini Coaches mini buses are fully maintained to the VOSA (Vehicle and Operating Services Agency) Standards. All vehicles are checked before each journey commences and a six weekly check to ensure all health and safety measurements are in order.
All Ace Mini Coaches drivers are given an induction explaining all policies and procedures which also includes drivers hours and breaks.
The safety of all our passengers is of paramount importance. It is the prime objective of Ace Mini Coaches to carry all passengers in a safe environment as is physically possible.
Risk Assessment of all Journeys
We assess all journeys to be undertaken, in respect of location, weather conditions the route taken and safe parking at the destination as to allow passengers safe access to and from the vehicle.
Prior to commencement of all journeys in accordance with E.E.C. regulations covering P.S.V. operation the driver will inform all group leaders, teachers, supervisors that the vehicle is fitted with seat belts and must be worn. Also the driver will inform the location of fire exits, first aid kits and fire extinguishers. It is laid down in E.C. law that all teachers, group leaders and supervisors of a children's party that it is their responsibility to ensure all children under the age of 16 are seat belted before the journey begins.
